Can you believe that Christmas is right around the corner? Truly the best time of the year, eh?
One of the things I love most is all the run up to Christmas itself, the decorating and preparations, the lights, the shopping and the Christmas films.
And what better way to gear up for Christmas than by celebrating with these 30 days of Christmas books your kids will LOVE?
We LOVE Christmas books and seem to have amassed quite a collection now.
I recently got them all out of the box so we’ve read some already but will be reading lots more in December.
If you're a fan of reading books and snuggling up together, having these book options makes perfect sense.
In fact, you might find that this is one of the highlights of your day this Christmas time!
Plus, you can use this list to make a Book Advent collection too!
30 Days of Christmas Books
It's no shock that there isn't any type of shortage for Christmas reading material out there.
So while we've narrowed it down to 30 books for 30 days, there are so many other choices of books that you could consider as well.
The main point is to pick a book and make time to read together every day.
And since we're in the holiday season, it just makes sense to sit down and read a Christmas book or two a day in the run up to the big day.
A Christmas Tradition
I have fond memories thinking back to my childhood sitting around the Christmas tree reading, so this is one fun tradition that I'm excited to keep going with the kids.
All of these books are kid-friendly and perfect for family story time as well.
Make up some delicious hot cocoa and snuggle down to jump in and read page after page.
Take turns reading the lines, talking about the storyline and sharing the overall magical theme of Christmas.
And as the days count down, it's a great way to bring out the excitement that Christmas is slowly coming near!
Have fun counting down the days to Christmas by reading your way to the day instead.
This is such a great way to find and enjoy the true spirit of Christmas!
Grab this list of some of our most loved Christmas books and enjoy some special reading time with your kids this holiday season.
