DIY Fall Room Sprays
Autumn is the perfect season to spend some time mixing essential oils to make room spray.
Adding the scent of fall to your home with a room spray can add the scent of baking, a walk in the woods, pumpkin spice or apple pie, making your home full of autumn with minimal effort.
Simply mix your favourite essential oils then add to distilled water in a spray bottle to make room scent.
Here are some of our favourite fall room spray scents and blends:
Vanilla
Vanilla is perfect at most of times of year, but in autumn it is redolent of cosy kitchen time baking and creating.
Add a drop or two of different essential oils such as cinnamon, clove, apple or orange to mix up your baking scent.
Fall Harvest
For a classic autumn scent, combine clove and cassia essential oils with a little witch hazel.
Then add vanilla to sweeten or tangerine or orange oil to make the blend more citrussy.
Forest
This combination of woody scents smells like walking through a forest in November.
Mix white fir, eucalyptus and orange essential oils till you get just the right combination.
Pumpkin
Rather than buying a ready-made pumpkin spice blend, mix your own.
Essential oils like cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, clove, vanilla and orange can be combined to make the perfect pumpkin scent for your taste.
