Shamrock Pot of Gold Paper Craft
Every year when St. Patrick's Day rolls around, we're always geared up and ready.
We have our green socks, our green hats, and our cereal bowls full of Lucky Charm cereal ready to eat and enjoy!
And this year, we're ready to go with this fun St. Patrick's Day craft.
The best part about this easy craft is that it's really cute, too!
It creates a really fun craft that can easily be displayed as a super cool St. Patty's day decor item as well (and the kids will be super stoked to see their craft hanging up for all to see!)
How to Vary up this Pot of Gold Craft
The great part about this pot of gold activity is that the kids can change it up to be whatever they want it to be.
While the colours of the rainbow are typical, who says they have to be?
Let your children explore their thoughts and excitement as they're creating this fun St. Patrick's Day activity.
This easy project will give them the creative freedom to change up the colours of the rainbow, the pot, the sky, or anything else that they want to!
Once they're done, all you have to do is hang it up for everyone else to see.
This is such a fun activity for St. Patrick's Day or if the kids just want to make a fun rainbow craft!

Instructions
1. Print out the template.
2. Select coloured craft papers, white embossed paper and golden glitter paper for the craft. Also select a paper for the background, we used a sky blue behind the rainbow.
3. Trace the cloud shape onto white textured paper, the rainbow stripes onto the papers selected for the rainbow, the pot pattern onto black or any other dark coloured paper, and trace the coins on golden glitter paper.
4. Cut out the traced patterns using scissors.
5. Stick the rainbow layer cutouts onto your background paper. Keep the narrow ends of the rainbow layer towards the top and try to keep the rainbow pattern in the middle of the paper.
6. Stick all the rainbow layers one by one nicely.
7. Stick the pot on the background paper, gluing the bottom and the sides, but leaving the to open.
You might need to cut the bottom outer sides of the layers on both sides diagonally to fit the pot’s top end nicely.
8. Stick the embossed cloud cutout at the top of the rainbow pattern.
9. Place and stick the golden glittery coins inside the paper pot through its top open end.
10. Use the template to trace and cut out the shamrock patterns from green coloured craft paper.
11. Stick the shamrock paper cutouts on the pot or near the rainbow or near the cloud, however you wish.
