It’s far better to have two really good ones than a lot of lesser-quality ones. Cheaper brushes can moult over your painting and ruin it, and they won’t last as long anyway.

Use clean water and a clean cloth to prolong the life of your brushes. Dab off excess water with a cloth then let them dry naturally and fully.
