We have been sent the beautiful Baby Annabell Carriage Pram to review and the girls are delighted! This beautiful dolls pram is in a classic, vintage-inspired style that will make any mini mummy proud to take her baby out for a walk.
The pram is the perfect transport for Baby Annabell or any doll or teddy up to 46cm long. It has a sprung chassis, adjustable hood and removable apron making it suitable for outdoor use. We have found it to be really robust and the large wheels work on various surfaces, even coping with the sand and stones of the beach as you can see, and endless pavement perambulations.
The sprung chassis of the pram make it slightly bounce as you push it and this springy quality makes it easy to manoeuvre. It is also easy to get up and down pavements, with no chance of the baby tipping out. For such a lightweight pram it is extremely stable and easy to push.
The sweet pillow and bedding set match the pink hood of the pale blue carriage and feature the trademark Baby Annabell lamb, as does the changing bag. It's such a pretty pram and lovely for them to push around with their babies in, role playing being mamas, going to the shops etc. We love the vintage styling and how great it is to push around.
The Baby Annabell Carriage Pram is perfect for encouraging multi functional role play and imaginative play, aiding children's social and cognitive development. Children will want to nurture their baby just like mummy, and love being able to take her out to the shops or the park. This traditional dolls pram would make a wonderful birthday or Christmas gift.
Out of the box the pram comes as the main pram carriage part, the frame and the wheels. It is easily to put together, simply push and click. Just be sure you hear the click with the wheels as we had an errant one at first. The instructions are fairly self-explanatory and it really is very easy to put together, just remember that you need to slightly bend the bassinet carriage to attach it to the chassis.
A couple of things to note, the main part of the pram is plastic rather than fabric, which actually makes it more robust and suitable for outdoor use, but this may be an issue for some. Also, once made, the pram does not fold up or go down at all, so you must have room for it indoors.
This Baby Annabell pram is recommended for children 3 years old and up. The handle height is 65cm though, so it may be more suitable for older children.
The Baby Annabell Carriage Pram is available from Amazon, Argos and leading toy stores, RRP £59.99.
